
CHINA ́S TERRACOTTA ARMY HAS ARRIVED AT THE CAVERNS BELOW ÖSTASIATISKA MUSEET
It took 700,000 men almost 40 years to complete. Now the terracotta army is in Stockholm to tell the story of China’s birth.
Back where it all began – deep under the ground – soldiers and a large collection of never-before- exhibited objects from a total of five imperial tombs are on display in the caverns beneath the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities.
If you only have time for one exhibition while you’re in Stockholm. This is the one. The exhibition is open daily 10 am - 8 pm, Aug 28 – Jan 16, 2011.
How to get there:
Cross the bridge to the Island SkeppsholmenROSS THE BRIDgE TO THE ISLAND “Skeppsholmen" (Opposite the royal palace). You´ll find the entrance on your left side immediately after the bridge.
Tickets: Buy your ticket at the entrance. The price is 150 SEK/person.
